President's Message
First, I would like to thank all our Iowa members for the support given to me and our state officers. I know I can speak for all of us and state that we have a great state society.
We had 3 officers attend the AMT Annual Meeting in St Louis, MO this year. This year the keynote speaker, Cedrick LeFleur, MLS (AMT) got us off on a high note. My takeaway was to Know your why, then you're what is more impactful. After this, we got to listen to many great presenters on multiple topics. Of course, my favorite parts are when we all get together for the Welcome Party and Award Banquet/Convocation. I was honored to receive the Exceptional Merit Award this year. Thank you, Iowa, for nominating me, I am very grateful.
Iowa鈥檚 Fall Educational Session is coming up on October 26, 2024, at Hawkeye Community College. We have a great lineup of speakers this year and we are looking forward to ending Medical Assistants Week with this meeting. Please see your email or the meeting tab for further details.
